A set of three panels in a hearth room in Dublin, OH. Made with Blenko glass and lead came  except for some flashed blue glass in the center. The flower and basket detail are done in Thompson enamel and Reusche glass paints with two kiln firings. The inside borders of all three windows have etched images in the crystal or blue flashed glass. Framed in poplar. Each are 37"x17".
The panels were designed by Donna Burt to invoke an country quilt feeling. The flower forms match quite-well a ceramic chandelier that the client wanted to match, and that an electrical contractor happened to destroy while the designs were being completed. The panels do still, however, go nicely with the curtains.
